Vision Statement

The Children’s Ark Youth Services is a not for profit residential facility geared at providing housing, intervention, and life skills to the at risk population of youth that have been placed in the child welfare system. It is an organization that understands the validity of Social Works “Life Model Perspective”. The Children’s Ark empathizes with the soundness that children are individually affected by life transitions, environmental processes, and interpersonal relationships. The organization wishes to provide every resident with physical and psychological wellbeing by, affording individual assessments and intervention models designed to meet the personal need of every child. Moreover, the facility is designed to operate in a family setting to aid and foster the necessary nurturing and feeling of connectedness every child craves and deserves. In due time, it is the organizations aspiration to empower every child who is a resident with the life skills needed to assure their success as viable, independent, and productive members of society.
